Is it public transportation if it's privately owned? The best publci transportation I've experienced was when I lived in Istanbul, Turkey. I could take a ferry from the Asian side to the European side for less than a dollar, and there was a new ferry every 20 minutes.

We have the scooters where I live in essentially people just litter the city with these scooters. They are nuisance. Why don’t you just buy your own scooter and take it home with you at the end of the day.

I suppose Scotland is losing the Independence battle in the sense that English MP's (by virtue of having 82% of the seats in Westminster) are preventing any route through which Scotland can become independent, but the argument within Scotland is certainly not being lost, as pro Independence parties still have a majority amongst both MP's and MSP's, and polls continue to show a roughly 50/50 split. The problem for the Independence movement is that they have run into a bit of a dead end, where there is no democratic means through which Scotland can become Independent. If this was the case in any other country there would be outrage.

The Allies and the USSR essentially deleted it permanently as punishment for the World Wars because it was seen as the epitome of "Germany" and Germany was the fall guy for WW1 and WW2 (although blaming Germany for WW2 is far less unfair [but still not completely fair/accurate - the USSR invaded Poland at the same time and Japan was getting fed up with Western hypocrisy on the subject of colonizing East Asia and the Pacific, as well as desperate for vital resources it could only import, but were getting cut off as the West was trying to stop them from expanding despite expanding themselves...])

Fact: Brandenburg (Kingdom of Prussia) is named Prussia because Brandenburg was in HRE and could not have a King because of that so they named it Prussia so the person ruling Brandenburg-Prussia could name himself a King. The name Prussia was the same name as the name of a group of Prussian Baltic tribes which lived in the territory of East Prussia but they went extinct in the 18th century because the Teutonic Order asked people to convert to Christianity and if they didn't they would kill them. Many people didn't convert and were killed and replaced by german settlers from the HRE which resulted in the territory slowly becoming German. The Teutons also built German infrastructure in the land which resulted in the Prussian infrastructure slowly being replaced. During the Teutonic conquest the Prussians revolted many times against the Germans but all revolts were unsuccessful and by the time that the Kingdom of Prussia became a thing most Prussians were dead.

The federal country surrounding Berlin is Brandenburg where the rulers of Prussia came to power in the late medieval. That still is part of Germany. We have to differenciate geographical Prussia and the Prussian state. The state was basically formed by Brandenburg, while the name stems from the farthest east parts of the state and those are the parts that don't belong to Germany anymore. For those interested: not even the capital of the kingdom of Prussia is outside of Germany today, cause that has been Berlin from as far back as 1701. Only the dutchy of Prussia had its capital in Königsberg, today known as Kaliningrad.
